A few weeks back we showed you the trailer for 9 (check that shit out HERE), from director Shane Acker and producers Neill Blomkamp, Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov. The trailer kicked all of our asses, which makes it even cooler to announce that the film has a new poster out, and hot-damn, is it cool looking!
I can’t tell whether it’s the dark browns and greens that have me super intrigued and drawn to this thing, but the poster alone make me want to check this movie out. For an animated flick, it looks moody, dark, and quite possibly depressing. Definitely not a kids movie here!
What I also dig about the poster is that, while it pimps Burton and Bekmambetov, it doesn’t even mention the voice talents it has on board, including Elijah Wood, Christopher Plummer, Martin Landau, John C. Reilly, Crispin Glover, and Jennifer Connelly. Another kind of film would have pimped the shit out of those names, but not this one. I like that, yo!
