A while back I told you about a flick called ADRIFT, which was floating around for a bit with the title OPEN WATER 2. At the time, we only had a teaser and a few stills from the film to go on. Today,
Bloody-Disgusting is rockin’ the all new trailer from the film, and it’s lookin’ better than
OPEN WATER ever did.
What got me this time around was the ‘based on actual events’ line in the beginning. I never knew there was some actual
truth to this! Crazy. If you haven’t heard, the flick’s about a boat of friends who like to party, and think that jumping in the ocean for a quick dip is a good idea. Except, after they do so they realize they didn’t put the ladder down and have
no way in getting back on board. Terror in the water ensues.

It’s aiming to hit theaters in the UK on September 1st, then based on the success (or failure), I’m sure we’ll be seeing it here in the states soon enough. And take this as a lesson in the future: if you go swimming in the middle of the ocean,
always make sure the ladder’s down.
