New Alien: Covenant image shows off the crew of the Covenant

Fox is planning to show us something special regarding ALIEN: COVENANT during the next episode of Legion, which will be airing on FX tomorrow, February 22nd. They're not saying what they'll be showing during the episode, just that there will be some kind of "exclusive ALIEN: COVENANT debut". So if you're looking forward to Ridley Scott's upcoming ALIEN prequel / PROMETHEUS sequel and you're not already watching Legion, you might want to tune in tomorrow.

The announcement of this "exclusive debut" was accompanied by the image below, which shows off the crew of the space ship Covenant – a crew that includes more cast members than we have known about. The names of some of the people pictured have not been revealed.

The official cast list includes Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby. James Franco isn't listed in there, but he is in this picture, right in the middle of everything. We also know that Noomi Rapace will be reprising her PROMETHEUS role, and there have been rumors that Guy Pearce might be showing up in the movie as well.

This image is referred to as the "Last Supper" picture, and it looks like the Covenant crew might be enjoying one last meal together before the Xenomorph shit hits the fan.

Scripted by Michael Green, Jack Paglen, and John Logan, ALIEN: COVENANT shows what happens when

the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world.  When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

We'll know the whole cast for sure when ALIEN: COVENANT is released into theatres on May 19th. In the meantime, we're getting some kind of COVENANT treat on FX tomorrow night.
