I’ll be honest, I wasn’t very receptive of the idea of remaking this classic, as the original still scares the bejesus outta me, but the teaser, the site, and these new pictures have got me really excited for it! I love that the film’s original score is used at the end of the teaser (one of the creepiest scores ever recorded, I might add), and while I still find it hard to believe that Ryan Reynolds is taking over the James Brolin roll, I must say he looks like he’s going to do a pretty damn fine job.
The film, based upon the so-called true events of a haunted house telling it’s new tenant to kill his entire family, hits theaters April 15th, 2005!
