The latest television ad for Kimberley Peirce’s CARRIE has come to sing you a relaxing little hymn… and show us some “praise” courtesy of a batch of critics you’ve never heard of. Fortunately this spot is cut fairly well, ramping up the suspense and dousing us with equal parts fire and blood.

Opening October 18th, CARRIE is about…

Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

CARRIE also stars Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde and Ansel Elgort.
