Got a whole mess of THE AVENGERS related stuff for ya today that should help tide you over the weekend. First up are two new licensing banners with character posters of the heroes from the film. Check ’em out below. We get another look at Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, which is pretty cool and a few new poses from some of the other players.
We haven’t seen a whole lot with Smulders as Hill, which is unfortunate. Hill is a great addition to the comics and I have no doubt Smulders will bring her charm, sass, and hotness to the role.
Next up is some Lego products with Cap, Iron Man, and Hulk.
Then, we have a peek at the Marvel Minimate figures, which features just about everyone with the exception of the unknown villains (Loki aside).
Rounding out the toys is a look at the Marvel Select Avengers movie version Hulk. The Marvel Select line is a highly detailed figure line, which has a great line-up of figures in their catalogue.
“We’ve worked hand-in-hand with Marvel Studios to create an exciting story set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that sets the stage perfectly for the most anticipated film of the summer,” said Axel Alonso, Marvel Editor-in-Chief. “Now, for the first time, you’ll find out just what happened to some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on the road to ‘Marvel’s The Avengers.'”
What is the Avengers Initiative? And what are the secrets of S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury?
The first issue is free this Sunday only on the Marvel Comics app. Check out a preview HERE.
And that’s it for THE AVENGERS news today. More to come!
