Last week we got wind of THE OXFORD MURDERS finally scoring a release date next month (check out the madness HERE), and in true marketing-blitz fashion, more and more “stuff” for the film is now coming out of the woodwork–like the new clip below!
The new clip is thanks to those crazy bastards at ComingSoon.net and features a flashback / history lesson sequence of a serial killer from the 1800s, explained by John Hurt to his pupil, Elijah Wood. Just when you’re not expecting it, some serious violence explodes from this clip, including one smashing of the head with a hammer. It doesn’t get any more intense than that!
Directed by Álex de la Iglesia, THE OXFORD MURDERS goes a little something like this: At Oxford University, a professor and a grad student work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols.
Enjoy the clip below and get ready for THE OXFORD MURDERS via Amazon, On Demand, and in theaters August 6, 2010.
