New David O. Russell film casts Rami Malek and Zoe Saldana

It's official, folks. The cast for David O. Russell's next film is undeniably out of control. After landing stars the likes of Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington for the untitled project, a report hailing from Deadline states that Rami Malek and Zoe Saldana are a lock as well. The plot is being kept under wraps at this time, though we do know that production is already well underway.

Malek currently has two complete film projects that have yet to be released including the next Bond movie, No Time to Die, and John Lee Hancock's The Little Things, in which he plays a character named Jim Baxter. Also starring Denzel Washington, and Jared Leto, The Little Things tells the story of two cops who are on the hunt for a serial killer. With regard to No Time to Die, it was reported on Tuesday that the film could lose its Easter release date in favor of being pushed to the fall. While not entirely surprising, this is a major bummer for those desperate to experience Daniel Craig's final turn as the iconic superspy.

As for Saldana, she's been all over the Hollywood map lately. In addition to filming back-to-back sequels for James Cameron's Avatar film series, she's also set to star alongside starring Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo for Shawn Levy's The Adam Project. When you stop to consider that she's just signed on to star in David O. Russell's next feature, one has to wonder if this woman ever sleeps. Please take care of yourself, Zoe. These are dangerous times, after all.

We'll be sure to bring you updates about Russell's next film as details are revealed. In the meantime, what movie are you more excited for? No TIme to Die or Avatar 2? Yes, I'm aware that they are completely different films, each with its own vibe. Humor me in the comments section down below.
