Please allow me to give you a lick of some literary horror this evening. It seems that a pleasant plethora of brand new images has been released for Momentum Pictures’ DORIAN GRAY. I took the esteemed liberty of posting them all for you up top and below.
You know what? I’ve really gotta say that I’m diggin’ what I’m seeing so far with this refined genre piece. My fave of the new pics is the one up top because it contains both Mr. Gray as well as his evil portrait. The pics down below basically rock “period piece style” too. I think we’re going to be in for one dark and stormy ride with this one. Plus, that image of Emilia Fox is gorgeous.
If you truly don’t know the plot of this flick, here ya go: Dorian Gray is a young man who becomes the subject of a painting. As the man descends into a hedonistic lifestyle, the portrait begins to age and morph, but he doesn’t.
DORIAN’s director is Oliver Park. After Ms. Fox, the rest of the large cast includes Ben Barnes as “Mr. Gray”, Colin Firth, Rebecca Hall, Ben Chaplin, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Fiona Shaw, Maryam D’Abo, Pip Torrens, Douglas Henshall, Caroline Goodall, Michael Culkin, Johnny Harris and Max Irons. The film releases on September 9th in the U.K., however I’m not sure when it’s coming to the U.S.
