Yep, British filmmaker Andrew Jones (THE FERAL GENERATION) is updating the 1979 exploitation flick about a struggling artist (played by Ferrara himself) who spends his nights killing random vagrants with a power drill. But hey, who hasn’t hunted the homeless for their own amusement? I make it a monthly event, myself.
Jones, who hadn’t even been conceived yet when Ferrara’s original was soaking the streets of New York, will reportedly turn it into more of a “psychological thriller” set in London, and he has a budget of around $5 million to do it.
Personally, I’m waiting for the remake of Ms. 45.
