A full length trailer for THE BOOK OF ELI has just hit Yahoo movies, and if you’ve ever wished there was a “Fallout 3” movie in the works, this is the absolute closest thing to it you’ll probably ever see.
Plot details are still a bit sketchy, with Denzel’s Eli traveling cross country post-apocalypse carrying some sort of book meant to save us all. Along the way he meets and trains Mila Kunis as an apprentice and must keep the book from falling into the hands of Gary Oldman.
It’s probably not going to be as contemplative as this year’s other cross-country apocalyptic hike-fest, THE ROAD, but I’m willing to bet what it lacks in Oscar potential it makes up for in explosions, gunfire and did I mention MILA KUNIS?
