The Fango boys dropped the first look at the FEAST theatrical poster today. That’s a little taste of it on your right, but you can click on either of those gaping maw’s to check out the whole shebang. Great poster, but it’s too bad that it’s in service of a 100 city, 2 date roll out before the flick gets shuffled off to DVD.
I haven’t seen anything about the movie that wouldn’t grab genre fans by the balls and slam them into theater seats, but I guess those Project Greenlight boys have gotten so gun shy after the first two pics flopped that they don’t even have the confidence to release a good movie with decent backing.
Anyway, the Weinstein Co. formally announced today what we’ve all known for over two months now, namely that:
Dimension Films is proud to announce that “Feast,” the highly anticipated horror movie whose inception and production was made possible and documented by the third season of the hit show “Project Greenlight” on the Bravo network, will hit theatres nationwide for special late night showings beginning on September 22 and 23, 2006. The special run will be followed by the DVD launch of “Feast” on October 17, 2006.
Gulager my friend, you deserve better.
