Personally, I can’t wait to see this one. It’s one of my most anticipated of next year. It’s written and directed by Michael Haneke, who is actually remaking his own 1997 film of the same name. FUNNY GAMES is about a couple of crazy dudes who hold a family hostage in their own cabin and force them to complete a series of disturbing games.
It stars Naomi Watts (below), Tim Roth, Michael Pitt, and Brady Corbet. Now that cast alone sells it for me. From the looks of the trailers, this one’s going to be intense.
I’m a big fan of simplicity when it comes to movie posters. If you can hit the point home with something simple instead of jamming as much as you can on, I’m impressed. And although you may have to see the trailer to appreciate this new poster, I dig it a lot. It’s set for a limited release March 14, 2008.
