The last time we got a GODS OF EGYPT trailer, it wasn’t pretty… not in the least bit.
Scores of CGI creatures were sent hurtling at the screen in laughable fashion, and the result was a movie that no one felt compelled to pay to see upon its release in February.

Lionsgate has now given us a second look at the film with a new trailer released today, one that is a bit less ridiculous, focusing more on the stakes of the movie and less on the spectacle. This is the first impression that GODS OF EGYPT could have used, and is a step in the right direction toward getting people interested. Is it too little too late? I guess we’ll find out next year.
GODS OF EGYPT hits theaters on February 26, 2016.
