New Gorillaz video has guns, fast cars and Bruce Willis

The “virtual band” Gorillaz are back, and they’re on the run. From both the law and Bruce Willis, it would seem.

The new vid for the tune “Stylo” from their impending release Plastic Beach finds eerie “live” versions of animated characters Murdoc, 2D and Noodle bombing down the highway in a musclecar while a sack of donut oil with a badge follows. But the real problem comes in the form of Bruce Willis, wielding a large revolver.

The vid for the groove track (which also features Mos Def and Bobby Womack) is capably directed by by Gorillaz co-founder Jamie Hewlett, who also created the Tank Girl comic.
