We got a heads up over the weekend from director Michael D’Anna, who’s latest horror flick SIDE SHO (that’s right folks, no W) is currently in post production, and shopping around for distribution. The final trailer for the SHO is online, and on all accounts, it’s looking to be one promising new flick!
Starring John David Hart, Toni Robider (below) and Dana Poulson, SHO is about a suburban family on vacation in the backwoods of Florida who venture off the main highways in search of historic roadside attractions, but find much more than they bargained for, including a family of inbred mutants who have terrifying plans for their daughters.
After checking out the film’s TRAILER, you should walk away with at least one of two things: one, that it looks like a cross between WRONG TURN and HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES; and two, the daughters these inbreds have plans for are pretty smokin’ hot.
While you may be thinking ‘rip-off’, it actually seems to be pulling it’s own unique spin on the genre of ‘inbred’s gone wild’, and overall, actually looks like a fun ride. SHO is rockin’ it’s world premiere June 25th in Nashville, where their production company Lucky Kitty Productions is based, and if you’re a mover and shaker, also know that it’s searching for distribution- so help it out and pick this puppy up while you still can!
