New image from X-Men: Days of Future Past; Second trailer coming soon

It's been a while since we've seen something new from Bryan Singer's X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. Total Film has a new image from the film, but the bigger news is a second trailer will be released in the near future. Let's take a look at the new picture first, featuring Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult. In the image, Fassbender is aiming a pistol at someone, and if I had to guess, it's probably pointed at a fan who thought it was a bright idea to ask the actor about JONAH HEX.

"Say JONAH HEX again, I dare you, I double dare you motherf*cker, say it one more Goddamn time!"

Now about that trailer: the British Board of Film Classification has rated a second trailer for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, and it won't be a teaser either. The trailer apparently has a runtime of 2 minutes and 28 seconds, and will likely feature plenty of new footage.

So when will we be able to see the new trailer? Hugh Jackman recently tweeted a thank you to Good Morning America about a surprise involving X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST with the date March 24, and many think the new trailer will debut during ABC's morning show.

But CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER will be released on March 28 in the U.K., and two days earlier in other international regions, so the second trailer might also come attached to Marvel's new film. Regardless of how we get it though, a new trailer for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is coming soon.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will open on May 23rd, 2014.
