As 2013 looms on the horizon and we start lining up our must-see films of the coming year, IRON MAN 3 is definitely a staple in most cinephile’s rosters.  The Shane-Black helmed pic, starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley, Don Cheadle, James Badge Dale, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, and Jon Favreau is one of two Marvel films to hit theaters next year and is shaping up to be one of its best.  Today, we have a new image of Tony Stark/Iron Man looking a little worse for wear.

Take a look:

I’m looking forward to this third entry and have high expectations from all involved.  I have a feeling this will be the best of the franchise so far.  Call it a hunch, call it an educated guess, whatever.  We’ll find out how it stacks up for sure when the film hits theaters on May 3, 2013.
