New image reveals official look at new Avengers: Endgame costumes

If the past decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was building up to AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, the upcoming AVENGERS: ENDGAME will bring it all to a close. Although the MCU will continue onwards for years to come, there's an air of finality to ENDGAME as this film will likely be the last time we see certain heroes. Since the release of INFINITY WAR last April, we've seen bits and pieces of leaked concept art and toys which have given us an idea of what to expect from our heroes in ENDGAME, but thanks to Orville Redenbacher, we've got first official live-action glimpse at the six main Avengers suited up in their new costumes.

Check it out!

I don't know if I'm ever going to get used to Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) wearing more than a tattered pair of purple pants. Just why was Orville Redenbacher to ones to debut this image? Well, it seems that they're setting up an AVENGERS: ENDGAME-related promotional contest which, among other prizes, includes a trip to Dubai. We'll have to wait until April 1st before we can enter however.

Although AVENGERS: ENDGAME may indeed be the end for some of the characters we've come to love over the past decade, it seems that we'll get plenty of time with them. The Russo brothers recently said that AVENGERS: ENDGAME is still clocking in at three hours, and that Disney is thankfully willing to accommodate any length they need to bring this story to a close.

I think the studio is down with what the best story is. Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we’ve had great responses from our test audiences and we’re feeling very good about where it is. We’re still doing work to it. We’re not done with it. Again, this is a culmination film of 22 movies, it’s a lot of storytelling to work into it. Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours worth of real estate.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME is set to hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
