For pure visual awesomeness, it’s hard to beat the 2nd INCEPTION teaser trailer, which just premiered over at Apple. (You can also watch it below.) The folding city bit already looks like a classic.
While we still have no official plot synopsis – it’s set within the architecture of the mind is what we keep hearing – I think the teaser opens up the possibility that the characters are going inside people’s minds. My guess: DiCaprio is trying to steal a secret – or idea – from a rival’s brain, so he travels within it. Somehow. Kind of like THE CELL. That’s just my initial impression though, I believe Christopher Nolan has a lot more up his sleeve.
INCEPTION stars Leonardo Dicaprio, Ellen Page, Ken Watanabe, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Lucas Haas, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Tom Berenger, and Michael Caine (most of whom can be spotted in the teaser). It opens on JULY 16th. Get your brain ready.
