I’m trying to figure out why there’s a sci-fi film (my favorite genre) starring Guy Pearce (one of my favorite actors) called LOCKOUT that I’m just hearing about now.
This new trailer for the film is pretty fantastic, and shows Pearce getting slapped around on Peter Stromare’s request. In the film, Guy Pearce has to rescue Maggie Grace from a prison in space, which has drawn TAKEN comparisons right down to Grace’s presence in what appears to be the same role. I just hope there aren’t any scenes where she has to run.

Check it out for yourself below. I really hope this makes it to a theater near me, but I’m not sure what it’s distribution is going to end up being like.
