Sorry, David Lynch fans — the master of surreality didn’t direct the upcoming thriller SURVEILLANCE, only produced it. Behind the camera, however, is another Lynch: his daughter Jennifer.
The movie appears to be a RASHOMON-style twister in which various witnesses offer different accounts of an incident revolving around an FBI agent’s hunt for a serial killer. Aside from Brit actress Julia Ormond and a curiously crewcut Bill Pullman, Lynch has assembled an intriguingly oddball cast (ex-SNL gal Cheri Oteri, the squinty guy from 3rd ROCK FROM THE SUN, and the one and only Michael Ironside).
