New Mandalorian trailer gives us all the bounty-hunting action we can handle

Sure, much of the Star Wars-related excitement around here has to do with the upcoming release of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, but I feel equally as pumped about The Mandalorian, the first live-action Star Wars TV series to debut on the Disney+ streaming service. Taking place several years after the events of STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI and well before the events of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, the series follows a lone bounty hunter (Pedro Pascal) in the outer reaches of the galaxy as he sets out to collect a particularly difficult prize. A new trailer for the upcoming series has just been released, which you can check out above!

If the first reactions to The Mandalorian are to be believed, we're in store for something quite special. According to The New York Times, the first episode of The Mandalorian will contain a "dramatic Star Wars-universe spoiler." I'm not sure exactly what that means, but given the time-frame which the series takes place, perhaps something will be revealed regarding the fate of one of the Original Trilogy characters or perhaps even something which sheds light on characters or events from the Sequel Trilogy. Either way, we won't have long to wait. In addition to Pedro Pascal, the cast of The Mandalorian also includes Giancarlo Esposito, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Carl Weathers, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Taika Waititi, Ming-Na Wen, and Werner Herzog.
