Even though I feel like we’ve seen it all before, there’s apparently a new MOTHER OF TEARS trailer online, this one apparently meant to promote the American release of the Dario Argento film.
Head on over to Bloody Disgusting to see the latest tease for the sure-to-be massively f*cked up flick (although f*cked up in what way? Read Arrow’s review HERE!) starring Asia Argento, Christian Solimeno, Moran Atias and Udo Kier.
The film is about American art student (Asia) who unwittingly unleashes a plague of witches in Rome by opening an ancient urn. As a scourge of suicides plague the city and witches from all over the world converge on Rome to pay homage, Sarah must use all her own psychic powers to stop the “Mother of Tears” before her evil conquers the world.
This is of course the third and final entry into Argento’s “Mothers” trilogy, with the great SUSPERIA and the utterly insane INFERNO being the prior two. It comes out next February.
