I am a big fan of THE PUNISHER. Who isn’t? The Punisher is the best Marvel character for the simple fact that he has no super powers. Other than the power of shooting people in the face. Is that a superpower? When it comes the f*cking Punisher it is.
Last year I was really excited to see THE WALKING DEAD’s Jon Bernthal take on the role of The Punisher. Bernthal (aka Shane) was the best thing about season’s 1 & 2 of THE WALKING DEAD and I stopped watching after they (SPOILER?) killed him off towards the end of season 2, and not until Negan sauntered his red-scarf-wearing ass out of the RV to bash heads, has there been a cooler character on the series.
Below you can check out the new blood and bullet-covered poster for the upcoming solo PUNISHER series on Netflix. As you can see by the poster, the new series will debut sometime in 2017. Hopefully, we get a more locked-in date soon.
