We’ve all been sitting back anxiously to see how Francis Ford Coppola’s TWIXT was going to turn out and if Chris Bumbray’s TIFF review is any indication… prepare to be disappointed.
Alas that’s only one person’s perspective and you might feel a completely different way about the film. So it’s with that optimism that I come here today to give you all a look at the brand new one-sheet for the tapped little flick. A writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. That night in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He’s unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated.
Starring Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Ben Chaplin, Tom Waits, Joanne Whalley (below) and Elle Fanning, TWIXT just hit the Toronto International Film Festival so we’re hoping for a solid release to come our way soon.
