How do you fiends feel about the PHANTASM film series? To be honest, I’ve never seen any of the flicks in their entirety even though I have heard some good things. Regardless of my viewership, there are apparently some rumblings on something new happening with the series.
A webmaster over at PhantasmCommunity.com contacted HorrorYearbook.com (thanks for the sourcing dilemma) to say that a non-sequel PHANTASM project has been “lensed and is nearly finished.” Okay, then what could it be? A trailer? A webisode? A short film? A remake? Whatever it may be, apparently it’s something very “big”. All we know for sure is that it involves series favorite, Reggie Bannister, shown up top in an actual pic from this secret project.
I wonder if Don Coscarelli (who directed all four of the PHANTASM movies) is highly involved with this at all? Even though I know this project is not another sequel, in regards to this article, I’ll have to say to be continued…
