New posters for Transformers: Age of Extinction and Into the Storm

A couple of new posters have landed online for TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION and INTO THE STORM. We'll start with the new poster for Michael Bay's latest robot flick, featuring Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz running away from a massive spacecraft. Photoshop the alien ship out, and the poster would look almost just like that scene from THE HAPPENING where Marky Mark is trying to escape from the deadly wind.

"There's a uh, big machine in the sky…"

Synopsis:

"A mechanic and his daughter make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons – and a paranoid government official – on them."

Yesterday we got a first look at INTO THE STORM, Steven Quale's new disaster flick, and I don't know about you guys, but I thought it was a very solid trailer. Looks like things are going to get pretty intense in the film, and I have to agree with fellow news editor Paul Shirey, that last shot is f*cking insane.

"Shit, I think that tornado just took out a Popeyes!"

Synopsis:

"In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot. Told through the eyes and lenses of professional storm chasers, thrill-seeking amateurs, and courageous townspeople, “Into the Storm” throws you directly into the eye of the storm to experience Mother Nature at her most extreme."

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION will open on June 27th, 2014, and INTO THE STORM blows into theaters on August 8th, 2014.
