REC 2 seemed to make quite the splash at the Toronto International Film Festival, and as an appreciation to the film’s reception (or maybe just because he’s a nice guy), co-director Jaume Balaguero provided a bloody new pic from the film via his blog (which you can check out above or right HERE).
REC 2 starts off where REC left off, when a medical officer and a SWAT team outfitted with video cameras are sent into the sealed off apartment to control the situation.
That really doesn’t sound like the best of ideas, but it does sound like the makings of a decent sequel. And word on the street is… the film is pretty darn good! Surprised? Expected? I didn’t think it’d amount to anything, so having positive reviews coming out of TIFF was a surprise for me… a welcomed surprise, but a surprise none-the-less!
