One film that’s been teasing the piss out of us is the Paco Plaza/Jaume Balaguero follow up film REC 2, about a quarantined building of rabid, foaming infected-zombie types. Well, looks like we’ve got more blue-ball offerings, as a new one-sheet and a fresh still have hit the wire.
The film has been making its international rounds for the past few months, yet strangely still has roiled U.S. release dates. No matter though, I enjoyed REC fine enough, and even found the American remake (QUARANTINE) to be pretty effective. As such, I’m all for REC 2, despite how friggin’ long it takes.
And if you feel the same, rest comfortably, because the second film picks up exactly where the first one stranded us. This time though we have a doctor-specialist and a heavily armed SWAT team to try and quell the vicious, crazy-eyed bastards.
I do kinda like the simplicity of the poster above, save for the kid looking a little to close to that damn Harry Potter character. As for the new still, well let’s just hope the dude isn’t mouth agape for some kinky-taboo-zombie-fellatio. Or wait, on second thought…
