I was dead set in seeing Darren Bousman’s
REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA (READ THE AITH REVIEW HERE)
from the beginning. Nothing personal against the film, its just that by
nature, I loathe musicals and detest operas even more. I’m not the audience.
But via time, talking with Bousman about the film (see him and actor Anthony
Head try to
sell me on it in the last JoBlo Movie Show) and
yapping with fiends who saw and dug it; I finally folded like a cheap
rubber and decided I’d check it out.
Sadly for me it won’t be opening in my
parts (of course it won’t – who’s behind this half ass released again), hence I’ll have to
catch
it on DVD when it comes out. Now a new clip from the film has surfaced on MYSPACE
