Well it looks like REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA is starting to finally roll out some media. We’ve got a look at the newest trailer for the horror musical over in our videos section. You can just click the screenshot below to check that out.
While I’m a fan of Darren Lynn Bousman’s SAW II, I could really care less about the rest of his work. Agree with me or hate me, but the last two SAWs were really bad. And REPO! just isn’t my fancy at all.
It’s not that it’s a musical… I loved SWEENEY TODD. No, it’s just everything else about REPO! that just doesn’t draw my interest. Who knows though?
I know I’ve said that before, but chances are I’ll catch REPO! somewhere down the road. I can gurantee it’ll be once it hits DVD though. But alas, whether I’m stoked for the movie or not, it’s my sworn duty to bring you all news on anything and everything horror. So there you go.
REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA comes from director Darren Lynn Bousman with a script from Darren Smith and Terrance Zdunich. It stars Paul Sorvino, Paris Hilton, Bill Moseley, Anthony Head, Alexa Vega (below). The synopsis reads: A worldwide epidemic encourages a biotech company to launch an organ-financing program similar in nature to a standard car loan. The repossession clause is a killer, however.
