Earlier this week we got wind that Wes Craven’s 25/8 has been renamed to MY SOUL TO TAKE (check that shit HERE), a name that I didn’t really like at first, but have sort of warmed up to. At the very least, it’s better than 25/8.
According to Box Office Mojo, the film’s release date has been changed and updated… sorta. MY SOUL TO TAKE has been switched from “New” to “TBD” this past week, and I’m not sure what that means–other than TBD has to be better than New. Right?
What a misleading and disappointing tease this was. No real date to look forward to, but at least there’s movement behind the scenes that continues to inch the film that much closer to that official release announcement. I don’t know about you, but I’m waiting on pins and needles to check this f*cker out!
Starring Max Thieriot, Denzel Whitaker, and Zena Grey, MY SOUL TO TAKE is about A serial killer returns to his hometown to stalk seven children who share the same birthday as the date he was allegedly put to rest.
Stick around for that official date to hit soon, but know that it’s in the process of being decided as we speak!
