About a week ago we got word that Toby Wilkins’ SPLINTER was rated R by the MPAA for violence/gore and language (check out the full story HERE). That was when the flick really popped on my radar, and today it made sure to stick somewhere on my ‘must see’ lists for this fall.
STYD scored the exclusive first look of SPLINTER’s brand new one-sheet, and let me tell you this… it’s as flippin’ awesome as a one-sheet can get! Why? A movie called SPLINTER showcasing a bloody hand with the worse case of splinters imaginable–that’s pure genius!
Maybe knowing a little bit about the flick will shed some light on this hand of pain: three folks trapped inside a gas station are fending off a parasite that transforms its hosts in bizarre and deadly ways.
That hand looks like stage of one of turning a host into the leader of the Wicker People, a porcupine, or worse yet… some alien commonly known as Spike. Either way, I’m down… this poster is awesome.
