Fresh out of Berlin comes some casting info and new stills from NEST, which has been dubbed the largest Chinese-Australian joint-production ever made. The flick, which we already knew was set to star Kelsey Grammer, Kellan Lutz and Li Bingbing, will also feature Stef Dawson, Shane Jacobson and Wu Zun. NEST revolves around a team of scientists who while making the discovery of the century lose a colleague in an ancient labyrinth. The group must battle their way through a swarm of deadly, man-eating funnel web spiders and discover the secret behind the arachnids’ power and intelligence – before it’s too late.
Filming is underway at Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast, Australia, on the 3-D movie, with Darclight Films handling worldwide sales. Keep it close for more updates on NEST, including a distro-deal and subsequent release date.
