The first picture from Rogue Pictures THE STRANGERS has been released, and damn…it’s creepy. Just look at that crap, what would you do if some freak was wearing that mask and stalking you? I would be the first to raid a gun shop and get what I could.
The film seems to be getting the push from Rogue Pictures, but judging on how crappy THE VACANCY has been doing at the box office, I think they might want to pull the plug on some of that funding. Not to mention how the film’s plot sounds a lot like the plot of THE VACANCY. In case you didn’t know, the plot goes like this “A terrifying suspense thriller about a couple (Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman) in a remote suburban house who are targeted by three dangerous masked strangers. The resulting clashes force the couple to go well beyond what they thought themselves capable of in order to survive.” Sound familiar? Maybe the second time around will mean big bucks at the box office.
The release date for THE STRANGERS is this July 13th, which means it’s going to get crushed by TRANSFORMERS and HARRY POTTER 5. But anyway, the picture down below does look pretty creepy, so check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
