Just a couple days ago Eric showed you all some DARK KNIGHT posters that were nothing short of badass. Well today there’s another banner/poster crawling around the web.
Apparently it’s an international banner depicting Batman smashing the window of some skyscraper. Visually it’s clearly amazing. You can get a hint of it above, click the frustrated Batman to get a look at the whole banner.
This isn’t the only TDK news coming out this week of course. The marketing has been going full steam again… is this good or bad? Does anyone even know what’s going on anymore? (VOTE HERE and let us know what you think!) Personally… it’s getting a bit too much for me. It was awesome at first, the whole mystery and realism behind it… but now it just feels stale. The fact of the matter is… they’re overdoing it.
Regardless, you bet your ass I’ll be standing in that line as soon as that theater opens up on July 18. Who am I kidding, I’ll probably be at the midnight showing (if there is one.) I’m sure you’ll all be there opening weekend too, even if the marketing has gotten kind of bland, it’s obviously done it’s job.
Of course all this new viral marketing is obviously pointing to the new trailer. Now said trailer has been bounced around the net more than those naked pictures of (insert female celeb’s name here). Warner Brothers has been hot on it’s trail, knocking it down wherever it pops up. To my knowledge, this site has had it up for a while without any threats to their loved ones from Warner, so if you just can’t wait until Sunday (or Friday if your seeing IRON MAN), check it out.
Of course I couldn’t help myself, being far beyond seduced by everything DARK KNIGHT. Now this new trailer seems to be the same exact one shown at the New York Comic Con, which Eric explained last week.
Some good Dent pieces with plenty of The Joker to keep us satisfied. So there’s your dose of DARK KNIGHT today, I wonder how many more stories we’ll do before this one finally hits theaters on July 18? My guess is around 37.
