New threesome added to cast of “True Blood’s” 4th season

With the 4th season of HBO’s “True Blood” currently in production, it seems a few more names have been added to the stable of players. In specific, “Hawthorne” hottie Christina Moore (below), Neil Hopkins (“Lost”) and Chris Butler (“The Good Wife”) will be part of the hit vampire series’ new season…moving from cable and network TV to a station that arrogantly claims, “it’s not TV, it’s HBO.” From that stand point, congrats to Moore, Hopkins and Butler!

According to Deadline, Moore will portray a character named Suzanne McKittrick, “A WASPy Texas housewife who possesses special abilities.” Hopkins will play Claude, “Claudine’s mysterious brother”…and Butler is set to play Emery, “a prissy and conservative shapeshifter with his own agenda.”

Wow. An Anglo housewife, a mysterious brother and a prissy shapeshifter? Why the hell is Alan Ball and company so intent on making this show TWILIGHT for the small screen? Even people who adamantly backed the first season or two are starting to jump ship after the direction the show is now headed. Are you one of those people?!?

“True Blood’s” 4th season premieres next summer!
