I’m not going to lie; I was a bit letdown by the first trailer for Guillermo Del Toro‘s upcoming robots vs. monsters epic, PACIFIC RIM. I know, that may sound like blasphemy to some of you, but there it is. It looked good, no doubt, but still a little too REAL STEEL meets TRANSFORMERS for me. Now, this new trailer, which is shorter, but with tons of new footage, is sliced just the way I like it and sells the shit out of the movie. Sometimes a little editing makes all the difference.
The new trailer has a slew of new footage and comes courtesy of the CES Qualcomm presentation via Facebook, proving that there’s always a venue to debut a kick ass trailer.
