IT FOLLOWS is the horror movie everyone who has seen it has been talking about for months. Seriously, I don’t know a single genre fan who isn’t either raving about it or raving about how much they want to see it. That’s buzz you can’t ignore. (Count our own Chris Bumbray among the revelers; read his review from TIFF HERE.)

The flick has just released a new teaser trailer for the UK; take a look at it below. It’s fairly vague, plot-wise, but it should send a shiver or two up your spine.

For 19-year-old Jay (Maika Monroe), the fall should be about school, boys and weekends at the lake. Yet after a seemingly innocent sexual encounter she suddenly finds herself plagued by nightmarish visions; she can’t shake the sensation that someone, or something, is following her. As the threat closes in, Jay and her friends must somehow escape the horrors that are only a few steps behind

The lucky Brits get to see David Robert Mitchell’s film in February. We Yanks have to wait forever because the Weinstein Company has domestic distribution rights; we’ll be lucky if it’s released in its original form.

You can check out the first trailer for it below.
