The full-length teaser trailer for Hammer Films’ THE WOMAN IN BLACK has arrived, via Yahoo! Movies. The trailer certainly has a classic horror vibe to it, and it looks very atmospheric, I loved it!
This is Daniel Radcliffe’s first post-HARRY POTTER job, this looks to be the perfect vehicle for him. The film will be hitting the US on February 3rd next year, with the UK getting it a week later on the 10th. Check out the trailer below, as well as the synopsis.
THE WOMAN IN BLACK stars Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client’s papers. As Kipps works alone in the client’s isolated house, he begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
James Watkins directed the film; it was based on the classic novel of the same name written by Susan Hill, with Jane Goldman penning the screenplay. Radcliffe stars alongside Shaun Dooley, Cathy Sara, Mary Stockley, Roger Allam, Liz White, Lucy May Barker, Tim McMullan, Alisa Khazanova (below), Daniel Cerqueira, David Burke and Victor McGuire.
