After catching the pics that Mr. Ammon posted from the NIGHT OF THE DEMONS remake last month, I don’t see how any horror-loving dude could not be anything less than 100% stoked for its release! Such gorgeous hotties combined with such a fun and cherished plotline — I’m going nuts with anticipation! To help satiate at least some of my eagerness, the NOTD blog over at STYD posted up a brand new link by the flick’s co-writer, Jace Anderson. After reading it over, I found some pretty sweet info. It looks like DEMONS is eyeing a release around Halloween this year! Perfect! Finally, a horror flick that isn’t intimidated by the SAW franchise! We’re also going to be getting a teaser trailer very soon which promises to be super cool! Production is right on schedule and visual effects work is about to begin. One final piece of sweet information is the word that DEMONS’ filmmakers are trying to secure the band .45 Grave to contribute some songs for the flick! In case you can’t remember, .45 Grave delivered a bunch of cool tunes to the RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD soundtrack.
So, all things considered, it looks like everything is progressing nicely for this NIGHT. I’m really looking forward to that trailer. You can bet your possessed ass that as soon as it surfaces, your boys here at AITH will have it up.
