Nighy cast in Potter

JoBloJoBlo

Bill Nighy was just about the last of the best British actors that hasn’t been cast in HARRY POTTER. But that’s all about to change. Nighy told The Independent, “I don’t think I’m allowed to say it but I’m going to be in the next Harry Potter film.” Cause that’s how Nighy rolls. He doesn’t care if he’s not allowed to say it, damnit, he’s gonna say it.

Nighy did clam up a little bit though saying, “I won’t say which character,” adding, “but he’s a goodie.” The Leaky Cauldron, unbound by the same contractual obligations of Nighy, reveals the actor will be playing Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour. Since I know little to nothing about HARRY POTTER, I did a little research but it would seem hard to talk about his character without getting into spoilers too much.

Filming on HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HOLLOWS, which will be split into two films to end the POTTER franchise, is currently underway.
