Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 is happening on Hulu with Murray Bartlett, Liv Ullmann, and more in talks to join the cast

After giving the green light to Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2, Hulu is all about that cult life. Nicole Kidman (Eyes Wide ShutPaddington) is returning to executive produce and star alongside a gathering of new characters. Liv Ullmann (Cries and WhispersAutumn Sonata), Murray Bartlett (The Last of UsThe White Lotus), Dolly de Leon (Triangle of SadnessVerdict), Maisie-Richardson-Sellers (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), and Aras Aydin (Two Types of PeopleCanevim) star as members of the cast. More actors will follow.

Based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s book, Nine Perfect Strangers hails from David E. Kelley, and “it takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (played by Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what will hit them.”

Nine Perfect Strangers follows a plot similar to the first season, with individuals traveling to a remote location in the Swiss Alps, hoping to better themselves through boutique surroundings, experimental therapy, and the teachings of the resort’s director Masha (Nicole Kidman). Masha specializes in rejuvenating exhausted bodies and minds. However, she has an ulterior motive for inviting strangers to her exotic getaway. Nine Perfect Strangers started as a limited series. However, the show was such a hit that Hulu is booking another session with Masha for more psychological mayhem.

Nicole Kidman, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto star in the first season, available to watch now on Hulu.
