I spent the day in Barnes & Noble today, raping the magazine racks. During my endless flipping, I came across a photo of Tim Robbins with headphones on, screaming. It was in Entertainment Weekly’s summer movie preview, and it was for a movie called NOISE. I was intrigued as they didn’t say much about it. I imagined it to be about a man who is driven insane by the incessant din of New York City, and much like Michael Douglas in FALLING DOWN, decides to fight back. As I write this, I still don’t know what it’s about. Please hold while I check, I’ll be back…

…Okay, I’m back. So here is the description from IMDb.com: “A man who is being driven crazy by the noise in New York City decides to take vigilante action against it.” Hey, looks like I was right. Hear the NOISE this summer.
