Nope: Alien Viewer plush, mask, and hands replicas are coming from Trick or Treat Studios

If you have seen Get Out and Us writer/director Jordan Peele’s new “horror epic” Nope (read our review HERE – our reviewer JimmyO gave the film a 9/10 score), you might remember seeing Alien “Viewer” plushes, masks, and hands on display at the Jupiter’s Claim gift shop in the film. If you saw those and wished you could have those items for yourself, you’re in luck. You can pre-order them right now! Trick or Treat Studios has created replicas of the Alien “Viewer” plushes, masks, and hands, and are accepting pre-orders on their website. Images of these items can be seen at the bottom of this article.

Nope centers on

residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.

Those residents are played by Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), Keke Palmer (Alice), and Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead). Also in the cast are Keith David (The Thing), Michael Wincott (The Crow), Brandon Perea (The OA), and Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria).

Trick or Treat Studios’ officially licensed Nope – Star Lasso Experience Alien “Viewer” Plush is approximately 15 inches long. It cannot stand or sit on its own. The Alien “Viewer” mask and hands were sculpted by Trick or Treat Studios Art Director Justin Mabry for the film’s production. The Trick or Treat Studios website notes that “Justin worked with Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions in the development of the mask and the hands for use in several scenes.”

I haven’t seen Nope yet myself, so the images on the Trick or Treat Studios were the first time I ever saw these things. I can’t say I feel compelled to buy them right now, but maybe I will after I have seen the movie. Are you a fan of Nope, and do you plan on ordering an Alien “Viewer” plush, mask, or hands from Trick or Treat Studios? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
