The London International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film released the winners from its 2005 festival recently, and we thought why not share some of the winners with you guys. They concentrate on edgy films and up and coming filmmmakers, so if you’re looking for a little something different from the average genre offering, make sure to check some of these out.

Best Director: Brad Anderson (The Machinist)
Best Supporting Actor: Jim Peterson (Saving Star Wars)
Best New Director to SF/Action: David Van Eyssen (Slipstream)
Best SF/Action Movie: Recon 2020
Best Anime: Sky Blue
Best Cinematography: Simon Dennis (IOTA)
Now looking at the list above, some of you may recognize Recon 2020 as an offering from our good friend Christian Viel, which features an appearance by none other than our very own Arrow.
