NOTTINGHAM, the revisionist take on the Robin Hood legend, that Ridley Scott was going to direct with Russell Crowe, has been indefinitely postponed. A new production start date probably won’t be set until next year. Apparently, a combination of script concerns, location logistics and the current labor unrest all played a role in the decision.
Thankfully this means Scott has more time to work on his MONOPOLY movie. I can’t wait to see that thing. I love when I splash out on a batch of houses and then have no money, but then I hit upon Free Parking and take all the money outta the middle. Yeah! To see that committed to film will just blow my mind.
