November 13 release for The Funhouse Massacre, starring Robert Englund

That was quick. It was just back in April that we heard Robert Englund had joined the cast of director Andy Palmer's film THE FUNHOUSE MASSACRE and now, after having its premiere at the September HorrorHound Weekend convention in Indianapolis, the movie is scheduled for a theatrical release in just over a month.

AMC Independent will be releasing THE FUNHOUSE MASSACRE in up to twenty markets on Friday, November 13th.

The story involves

group of escaped serial killers who descend on a giant funhouse on Halloween and begin creating carnage. The only people left to stop them are a ragtag group of college kids, a clueless deputy and the local sheriff.

Englund plays a prison warden, with his co-stars including Clint Howard, Jere Burns, Scottie Thompson, Sebastian Siegel, and Courtney Gains.

The film went over quite well at Horrorhound, winning Best Feature and earning the Best Special Effects award for FX artist Robert Kurtzman. Sounds like a good time to me.
