From a press release we received today, NIGHT TERRORS is a new horror anthology series in the tradition of Tales From The Crypt, and was created by writer/directors David Buchert and Chris St.Croix.
As seen in the video, the series already has two episodes completed. THE KEEPER, written and directed by St.Croix, has a supernatural monster movie feel. DUMMY, written and directed by Buchert, has more of a masked-slasher vibe. A good dichotomy, as both episodes are set to premiere sometime in November.
I must say, especially around this time of year, I love a good horror anthology. Judging by the tags on the NIGHT TERRORS Youtube channel, Buchert and St. Croix feel the same. Dude’s are evoking not just “Tales From the Crypt, but “Tales From the Darkside”, “Night Gallery”, “Masters of Horror” and “Fear Itself.” Let’s hope NIGHT TERRORS is good enough to keep such company!
